I sold this van brand new, and there were issues with the customer not accepting the vehicle as we built it. When it got down to the real bottom line, it was a money issue that caused us to just buy it back from the customer. So what I have is a Pre-Owned 2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 144 inch wheelbase high roof cargo van with a Thermo King V300 Super Max rear refrigeration unit in the back, that is being sold with the Mercedes-Benz Certified warranty.
This is a fantastic buy for someone looking for a produce hauler, a cold drink delivery vehicle, a mobile food vendor or a Caterer that needs a vehicle right now and cannot wait the normal 6 weeks to get one built.
It has under 1800 miles, and is being sold with the Mercedes-Benz Certified Warranty program. The factory 3 year or 36,000 mile, whichever comes first warranty ends on 1-31-2016 or at 36,000 miles, but this van has factory warranty until 1-31-2017 or 72,000 miles.
This unit was built with a Thermo King V300 Super Max roof mounted rear air system that runs off of the 12 volt system when the engine is running, but it also has a 110 volt back up system that allows you to plug the unit in to a regular 110 volt outlet to keep the rear cargo area cold. This system can maintain a temp of low 40’s with no problem, and even when you stop to unload, the plastic curtains on the side and rear doors helps to maintains a cold temp, then recovers quickly when you get going again.
The interior has been heavily insulated on the walls and ceiling, and covered with a durable and easy to clean FRP paneling. It has two rows of Taylor Ready folding aluminum shelves on both sides of the van. These shelves individually fold up and out of the way when you need more space inside. These 19 inch wide shelves are able to carry a load of 60 lbs per linear foot. It has ceiling lighting, a vinyl covering over the factory wood floor for easy clean up.
We started with a new 2012 2500 Cargo van with the 144″ wheelbase and the high roof, this gives you about 10 feet of cargo floor from the bulkhead to the back doors, and allows a stand up height of over 6 foot. This van can carry loads of 3000 lbs, minus about 500 lbs for the interior modifications. Here was what the van specs were that we used.
It is ready to go right now, but please hurry as this vehicle will not be here for long. We can offer financing through Mercedes-Benz Finance and out of state purchases are no problem.
